This is it ???/

It would mean some 8-9k people would make the cut... and they have just 60 odd seats... I have had enough jokes this year and really not in a mood for one more..

Lets hope for some good news to come along now...:lookround:

missed DI cut-off by 0.67 %ile 😞

Gr8 News mate!!
Just wondering why none of the the IIM's (except B,L) are not giving any weightage on Work ex...

I think this would only be the step 1 of the 3 step process that IIM T will follow similar to IIM Rohtak & IIM Raipur.

One can deduce this from the IIM Ranchi director's reply to a question in the PG interview where he says that except for Ranchi, all the other 3 new IIMs have decided to opt for the same criteria.

So it's all a case of creating hope for many when there isn't an iota of scope for them. :|

PS: Can't really understand Rohtak/Raipur's policy of having a cutoff of 98 in step 3 when they could have the same in step 1 itself.

Exactly ........

Wonder what fun they get in this....... Common yaar people across the country look upto IIM's & IIT's for excellence..

This is sure not the excellence IIM's were traditionally known for....

guys iim s are iim's...yes this cat fiasco is pushing it too much..but lets look at the other options as well...life is not over without an iim call

all the best

Shit man....65pc UG criteria will cost me dearly....
First rohtak and raipur, and now even trichy is gone

Guys, last year did the new iims call students based on their cat score or such criteria was thr????
PS: Just for my info i want to knw....

no matter what happens, i will not give up....

Guys I hav 64.8%:banghead: in b.com...nd dis is d 3rd IIM cuming up wid dis 65% grad cut-off ..I hav 99.1 in CAT wid balances sectionals...will dey keep me out of consideration..really feeling low nd disappointed:|...plz help..y on earth dey keep 50% criteria while giving vouchers?? Is there any chance for atleast being considered??

Rahul Sood...plz help..y on earth dey keep 50% criteria while giving vouchers?? Is there any chance for atleast being considered??

Sorry to say this buddy, but there's no chance. Can't understand how can they come up with a flat 65% grad criteria when there are universities like Delhi & Pune where even getting a 60% is a tough job.

Don't lose hope though. As cliched as it may sound, the fact remains that not bagging an IIM call ain't the end of the world. ATB

No mate.. ppl have been there who have missed cut-offs by a paltry 0.01%.. It's just luck..
All the best for other calls..

i qualify all the criteria given on IIM-B site for admissions to IIM-Trichy. but they have not mentioned any further details about how to apply for it. if anyone knows, please provide the details.

I screwed my 10th score - got 69%
Paying the price now!!

Another heartbreak...

missed LRDI cutoffs... :banghead::banghead:

everything else was fine.. :drinking:
just one thing left to do...move on.!!!!

Ya bro...me too missed in VA..!!!!
We cant help ruing on the IIM's now..!!!
The thing we can do is to prep for the other calls..!!!

An F- word for the IIM's nd their policies..!!!

I have 69.60 in 12th and 90.80 in 10th.Will my marks in 12th be rounded up to 70 or I won't be considered at all?
And the cut-offs imply that a guy scoring 70 in 12th and 75 in 10th is better than a guy who scored 69.80 in 12th and >95 in 10th.

i have done my graduation in dentistry from Gujarat University...
the person who was amongst the top 5 students in the university for all the four years is my friend...
his aggregate score is 63.4 and the person who topped the university for 3/4 years and was 3rd in university in the 4th year has an aggregate of 64.7...
my aggregate is 57.5....

that means,even if i had scored 100%ile in CAT,i wouldn't have got a call from IIM-T
jai ho IIMs ki

Guys I might just make the cut for all the required criteria.. But how do i apply for IIM trichy? Do they shortlist you or theres somethin else cookin?

Me too, a graduate from a prestigious autonomus university, where getting 60% is supposed to be great...
Missed grad cut off by 1%..

Missed IIM k's second shortlist cos my 85 percentage in tamil nadu stateboard got normalised to 0.23 😞

Are they following the same path which IIM-K followed...
