I tried to get some info. still not successful. actually wrote to a prof there. still awaiting the reply. However placement at any Epgp program is student driven. Now since in this particular case students will be out of the country for last 6 months of the program, the institute's initiative will be of utmost importance. However still no clue, although I have already applied and waiting for i/v call

2) Will there be any placement assistance after successful completion of the course?
Reply from IIM PGPEx- Assistance will be given abroad.
3) I found that there are three dates given to accept the offer- Does that mean that the last date to accept the offer is 30-mar-2012?

4) Will there be any assistance from IIM shillong regarding loan applications to banks?

Guys Even I mailed IIM-S about some queries..!!
Should say that the answers were all one liners and seemed pretty much rude to me.
I mean you are starting a course for the fst time and the information you are providing is pathetic..!!
1) Do IIM-S has some kind of TIE UP with the Banks to provide the required Loan above 10lacs?
2) The faculty listing is still not there in the website, When can we expect that?
3) This is regarding the Placements. If I understand correctly then a person will finish his course in China, in that case
where will be the placements conducted? Will IIM-S help the candidates in getting placed?
4) What would be the Degree awarded?

I can't agree more. The information provided about the course is very less and the fact is that they don't seem to know much about the details themselves. The degree which would be awarded would be PGDM . Not very keen about joining the course now!

Yep, I think the person answering the mails have little or absolutely no knowledge about the course or he/she is some "IIM" Guy with loads of "IIM Attitude"..;)

It's total confusion... !!! I made an error while filling the application form,I wrote about the same to IIM S and was advised to fill another form.
I re-applied but of course with a different e-mail ID !!( I was told that the form will accept the same e-mail ID which I have provided earlier,but it didn't)
How are they going to differentiate?

Error related to your data or any generic error... just to check if we wouldn't have commited a similar mistake! 😞

Anyways got acknowledgement for both the application forms. Don't know which ID they will refer while calling me for the interview (if any)...:)

The thing is we can only speculate..that's all..as someone said..No Risk No gain??Isn't it?
