I got 96 %ile in CAT 2009. What should I do?? Any suggestion which institute I should go for. What about IIM- ranchi is it worth taking a shot at!!! Though I was expecting a higher %ile so have only applied for MDI apart through CAT. Plz…

in the advertisement released ... there was nothing specified na ... we cant guess those things i guess !
since IIM C is mentoring them ... may be .. admission wud be on similar strategy (though not as high as C)
well thts just a guess

I have an overall percentile of 97.72 with 96 in quant, 92 in DI and 96 in english. Can somebody genuinely suggest if its worth applying for IIM Ranchi?
Dont you think the percentile cut offs might be even higher?

Hi,
Please evaluate my chances for 4 new IIM's.
I have not applied anywhere else and can't expect any calls from old 7 IIM's at this %ile.

OA: 97.87

QA - 98.33
DI - 94.27
VA - 87.36

10th - 81% - CBSE
12th - 83% - CBSE
Grad - 60% - IIT Kharagpur
WorkEx - 05 Months till now - IT
-------------------------------------------------------

Was not very sure of 95+ %ile, So haven't applied to any other Non-IIM B-school. Although I highly doubt it, is there any other good college where I can still apply?

I applied to only MDI gurgaon whose chances also seem bleak :-|
