wat are the cut offs last year??

i hope they remove the 60% graduation criteria.really sucks that i cannot apply at such a wonderful institute.will check the website on october 1st.

Hi Himanshu,
Cutoff for last year was around 86-87%ile.

Hey ,This criteria was their till the last season .The institute keeps 60 % criteria in graduation , as most of the recruiters demand the same. Wait for the final notification for this year for any further revision.

Is there any difference in the package a Fresher gets and work Exp person??

Hey raghav, guide me through the criteria for selection at IFMR. How does the CAT and XAT cutoff differ for the institute.? And the placements and profiles being offered.. What was last years CAT and XAT cutoff....Thanks !!!

Hi i called IFMR today for enquring abt GMAT score they said score should be around 700 and deadline for submission for score is jan 31st is it...true i had a doubt wether he said is true or not, becoz he was not the authorised person he some worker i guess

Hi Angad,
The placements in IFMR has been 100% since inception.
Yes in any BSchool there would be a difference between salary of Fresher and experienced guy as some companies do ask for laterals only. But the average salary for the batch was 7.34 lpa while highest 10.65 lpa. But being a fresher no one is restricted for any company or profile. Many freshers also got better salary than experienced.

The cutoff for CAT and XAT was same and was around 86-87 %ile.
For info about selection criteria you need to wait till Announcement for Admission notification which is expected by first week on October.

hii admissions at IFMR is strictly on merit basis no reservation system.

Both.

If you clear the cut off you will surely get call. Some calls are profile based also.
