overall - 75
itz very clear that i'll hardly be shortlisted for even tier 2 b-schools.
the feeling right now is something which just vanishes you off totally.
itz something which just can't sink in swiftly and is very very hard to swallow.
about 1,85,000 people gave exam this year.
thus, those who get 75% or less will be around - 1,38,750 people who can't really get into any good b-school.
so does that mean people like me don't stand anywhere whatsoever in this "Battle of the fittest,wisest and mentally strongest"
I don't feel so. we still have a long way to go before we give up. Remember, itz hardly a matter of getting 6-7 Q's correct to push your percentile from 75 to more then 95.
Also remember, a person don't realise he is too close to victory before he calls it a day.
So, here r few things you can look forward to for this season(yes, u heard it right, this season, itz a long time left before this season ends !! )
1. SRCC GBO exam.(29th jan) 18 days to go
very easy paper. only thing which requires prep is gk.
average package(acc to my friend who is on the verge of completing it)
- 6 to 7 lacs
usp factor - just 1 lac fees
so, ROI is gr8 ....only thing u need nw is determination 2 take out at least 5 hours on weekdays and 12 hours(or maybe more) on weekends. if you arn't working anywhere study more on weekdays.
reason why i have mentioned to study so much is coz practice is the only way u can make it and increase yr confidence, considering u didn't score good in cat
2. MHCET ..(11th march)...2 months left
only way to crack this is practice,practice,practice !!
mocks,mocks,mocks !! (for previous mocks... download frm cetking.com)
so get out of those blankets and prove your mettle.
one catch here is for the OMS candidates i.e. those whose native place isn't maharashtra like me 😞 .
we guyz just have around 18 seats to aim for JBIMS
almost similar is the case with SYDENHAM.
anywayz right nw don't care 4 dat , bas shuru ho jao and prove each of your criticizers wrong. HAVE FAITH 24/7
3. CMAT - (i think from 22-28th feb) last date 4 registration is 22nd jan now (plz confirm)
again only prep requird here is mainly gk, since, the sample paper q's are relatively easier.
although nt many gud insti's registered here but remember next season this entrance will be at par with cat ...so just for the sake of practice, give it this year aswell.
and yes, JBIMS,SYDENHAM ,GIM,KJ somaiya(retail) accepting CMAT scores this season.
so if u r giving cet and cmat, better scores out of the two will be considered.
so, don't think twice b4 registering nw.
so, plz try recovering asap frm this injury. itz very hard to i knw, even i can't and m literally shivering while writing this as my family will soon knw da outcome of my disaster i underwent on 22nd oct( bond ban raha tha first day-first show book kar ke

and plz, don't care of what the world thinks of u. there will be several cases nw, where otherz may say "yaar , ye to kitna pada tha phir bhi ye no. laya" or "agar mein itna padta to president ban jata" or "bhai ye cat shat to sirf engineers crack karte hain, tu kaha iss daldal mein phase ja raha hain"....or many many such bull shit stuff.
just have faith in yourself. beleive in yourself. don't be afraid to take risks and always be confident

I have got 39.37 percentile in cat 11(QA-43.9, VA-38.24), Pls where can i get admission....i have to join a college this year...I'm a SC candidate
And what about ATMA and Feb MAT 2012? They are also available. Just gotta admit that I haven't slept since I checked my results. But I gotta be strong and work really hard for the upcoming ones.

quant has been the game changer, people have really cashed in @ this years quant section so that the percentiles have rocketed for that section.
someone having 90%le for quant and 80 for va will be having more overall score than someone having 90%le for va and 80 for quant.
to all those who missed out, what can i say!
i'm not different from you, well gave it a 3rd time with better preps...but scored less than last two times!

please, just look around there are so much more opportunities...dont looka t the toppers...if there's an exam there will always be toppers. and its upto you whether to be a loser in mind, bcos there's nothing as such as a loser on paper.
there're many more edges to this wonderful prism of life and what it reflects one moment might not be what it reflects later, so always look at the brighter side and wait for it to turn around.

6hrs - weekdays
12 hrs - weekends
for non-working
try studying as much as possible.
Our targets now are - SRCC gbo, JB,SYDENHAM and GIM(if anyone applied for it)
