Formals for both males and females.
Preferably necktie for males. Suit only if you are comfortable.

Last date to apply: 31st March(Only MAT/XAT scores accepted. ) Admissions to PGDM and PGDM-IB in gr.Noida campus are closed now.
Eligibility : The only criteria is that one should have 50% in graduation. CAT score . We do not consider MAT score for PGDM.

But there have been many people asking me about BIMTECH.
So here I have few Queries. Hope to get the answers.
1. All the courses at BIMTECH?
2. Cut Off's are same or different?
3. Scores accepted at BIMTECH
4. Placement figures at BIMTECH for all the courses. Average, Highest & Median.

Hi ,
The following courses are offered at BIMTECH:
衯PGDM,PGDM (International Business Management),PGDM (Insurance Business),
PGDM (Retail Management),PGDM (Sustainable Developement Practices).
PGDM (Retail Management),PGDM (Sustainable Developement Practices).
Scores and cut-off:
It is through CAT or XAT for PGDM & International Business Management Course. For Insurance Business, Retail Management and Sustainable Developement Practices we use MAT besides CAT and XAT.
Last year the CAT cut-off for PGDM was 70 percentile and this year the probable cut-off will be 75 percentile for the same.
For the Bhubaneshwar campus,the cut-off is not yet decided.
Placements for this year are in progress. Last year the avg domestic package was 6.75 lacs.
Is it compulsory for all admitted students to stay at the Institute's Hostel?
is cut off is same for all or it is different for obc nd sc,st

1. Is the fee to be paid in instalments or at once?
If in instalments then by what dates and what intervals?
What is the first time and how much fee is to be paid at the confirmation of admission? - I am asking all this because some students may need to arrange loans etc.
2. If the hostel facility is to be compulsorily availed then what are the Accommodation charges and Mess charges?
3. Are there any other fees/charges to be paid other than the course fee and hostel charges?
4. What are the current batch sizes?
5. Put some light on the latest placement scenario.

Hi Vipin,
You need to stay in the hostel even if you are a localite.
This is for the benefit of the students only. Sometimes there are lectures or seminars for which a student has to arrive at a very short notice. Staying at the hostel facilitates this.

cut-off for pgdm was 70 percentile last year. For this year,decision is awaited.
you can expect it to increase by 4-5 percentile.

1. the fee has to be paid in installments. The installments shall be communicated to you once you are shortlisted.
For the first time you need to pay an estimated amount of ‚ĹĄ2,70,000 plus 40k hostel and mess charges(These are last year figures).
2. No other fee need to be paid other than the above mentioned ones.
3.Current batch sizes are 180 for pgdm and 60 each for RM,IB and Insurance Business mgmt.
4. Current placements are in process. We shall update you soon on that.
what is the total fee charges till the final placement ????

Presently its is arnd 8.5 lakhs academics fee plus 2.5 lakhs hostel and mess charges for 2 yrs.
Are the forms out? and what is the last date? Are the calls profile based.. does having Work ex gives any benefit?

The calls are not profile based.
Having a work-ex gives you an edge during final shorlisting process. However, BIMTECH has a 65:35 ratio of freshers to work-ex people in the current batch.
The online form available in the website refers to 2012 admissions. It ask's for cat 2011 and other details only. Is the form not available for 2013 yet online?
