Advice to aspirants : Dont read much into anything during the entire admission process, just give your best shot at preparations and dont screw up during the exam time. Solve all previous CAT papers before the test. Get involved in the Official quant thread, this helped me a LOT.

Just a suggestion from my side. As can be seen, people are not copying the format from the most recent post and updating their own admission choice. So it makes it difficult to understand the total counts. Again better than understanding the total counts would be to understand the full profile of the people who converted.

So on the whole this thread can be something similar on the lines of "Class of 2012" thread which was started last year, but then specific to IIMs.

So it would be better if people put up their convert in the following format:

The count of people joining each IIM can then be easily taken, and also profiles can be easily understood, to get better understanding of the selection process/criteria.
