Can you elaborate upon it ..
1) Dual Countries are?
2) The final degree that we get is affiliated to IMT Ghaziabad?
3) Placements are held at the Ghaziabad campus or abroad?
4) Does it hold equal reputation as the IMT Ghaziabad degree or has a lopside?
5) Average placements / Package ?
6) Stay abroad self sponsored ? How much does it cost for the whole program ?
1) Two Countries are: Dubai and India.
2) Yes, The final degree that we get is affiliated to IMT Ghaziabad.
3) Final Placements will be held at the Ghaziabad campus.
Summer Placements for 2010-2012 batch were done in Dubai.
Students had the opportunity to get placed with companies in Dubai and India both.
4) The course is as reputed as any IMT-G program.
5) As this is the first batch of the Dual Country Program answering that question is not quiet possible as of now.
6) The stay in Dubai is included in the fees. Complete and detailed breakup is given on the IMT website you can browse through that for details.
To quote a figure the program would cost you a figure upwards of Rs.15 lakhs.

Are the students acccomodated in IMT G campus during the second term (hostel and classroom)
Will they be at an equal standing in terms of placements with other courses like Finance, HR, IB etc.
Hi....I have been waitlisted for dcp with 98% tile...I have a feeling that IMT has put ppl with higher percentile into DCP...please post your percentile so that we get a better picture...

Me too got into DCP with 95.76 percentile and decent acads.
Was waiting for IMT-G campus.
But won't be joining DCP atleast.

I have around 2 yrs of work-ex in IT.

The program looks good with one year of International exposure. And the best part can be coming back to Ghaziabad for placements.
My only concern is about the placements. I hope the placement policy for the people of PGDM-DCP will be the same as for the people of PGDM IMT-G.
And I hope the people from PGDM-DCP will be eligible for all the companies according to their profile.
Seniors and professors, if any, please comment on this.

lets try find out a pattern out here...Do All those who have been Short/Wait Listed for DCP have avg acdemic score(considering my acads being on a lower side) and have 12+ mnths of WE and when asked during interview if they had any other calls apart from IMT they replied yes and will choose another college over IMT G if had a choice among the two...
PS : this happened with me as I said that I had a call from MICA n if selected there I will not come to IMT...
@ seniors: please dont fret as i am jst trying to find out wat happened after an interview in which panelists either smilied on my answer or said good/perfect answer...

I was going through the DCP info given in IMT's website and it doesn't look bad.
Considering that the final year and placements take place in the Ghaziabad campus as well as the high percentiles of selected students, it seems to be a programme on the rise.
I just wanted to know it these high percentilers would end up taking the programme (if they do, the quality of peers and reputation does go up)
I quote a pagalguy interview:
"According to Dr Sherry the Two Campus Programme will not meet the same fate as PGDSM-MIT since it is structured differently.
He explains that IMT already has an exchange programme in place wherein students go to IMT Dubai for 3 or 5 months. The Two Campus Programme can be looked at like an extension of an exchange programme, only it is a new course by itself.
We will be offering a degree from IMT Ghaziabad at the end of the course and not from Dubai. Which is why getting the AICTE approval should not be an issue. We are neither offering a dual degree nor is the degree going to be given from Dubai. The degree will be given by Ghaziabad after the completion of the second year in Ghaziabad, he said."
all in all, this seems revolutionary. (at jut Rs.4 lakh more)wonder if it can live up to this.

yes it has AICTE recognition now. Searched on Google.
Hopefully the programme is catching up with the remaining Ghaziabad ones.
Looks like I'll be taking a leap of faith.
