No, there is no evidence of workex being given a high weightage in IIMK. There are usually no hard and fast rules about such things. They try to achieve a balance between freshers and people with workex, so do not worry about that.
Unfortunately, you have to back up all fact based stuff you put in the form with certificates. Putting in stuff for which you have no proof can be very problematic and in extreme situations can lead to outright rejection. If possible, go get those certificates... tell your school authorities that you have a IIM call and need it..

gosh... even i am currently in my final year (fresher) and have lesser overall score... the only thing that can go in my favour is a better academic record! fingers crossed!
Congrats to all call-getters!! Savour this moment as you would remember it for long...
Wouldn't like to spoil it... But a Kall not Konverted is no call after all... (Was that internal rhyme or alliteration?? Or both maybe??) So enjoy but keep your feet on the ground.. Remember, the easy phase is gone.. The tougher one is yet to Kome...
