You'll definitely get a call from Bimtech....the placement scenario is a bit on the slower side, because of the recession.......but the pacakges haven't been affected.....our senior batch is currently undergoin placements and we'll be able to give out the exact placement figures in a few days...the average package is not likely to be affected.....we are expecting growth, albiet slower as compared to last year

As far as chances r concerned decent....but what i don't get is why would you want to do a PGDM after already doin an exec MBA??

Decent chances, though a PGDM call is a bit doubtful cos of the improved rankings this time around, the cut-off just might go up......keep ur fingers crossed

However T.I.M.E. says that the cut off for BimTech is Mostly In The Range Of 70 and above. And for others 65 and above. Is it true?
They asked me to fill BimTECH PGDM.

Good question... That was only part time... I did that to get a basic idea abt the management side.. It turned out to be a great experience... Btw there were no placements for that... Thts y i thot of going for a full time program and then to get a job.... 😃

hmmm....if by ROI u mean tht will u be able to recover wht u put in terms of money in the course, by the pay package that u recieve in 1 year, then it depends on how u perform......say in any course if u r among the top 30-40 % (not just in grades, overall) then u'll definitely be able to recover ur investment........moreove u haven't mentioned if u hav workex or not....cos if u do then u hav chances to get laterals (over 2 yrs, relevant)

if however u r lukin for value addition then bimtech is the place for u.......

a reiteration -- the return on ur investment depends on, wht is ur output during the course, ur course, ur specialization (a small bit), n ur workex

well time is usually right in all these matters, but then we expect a general rise in the cut-offs, this is because the average percentiles have been rising over the years......especially with bimtech rising up the rankings each year......

at 75 u hav a decnt chance.....IB would hav been sureshot.....hopefully u'll get a GD/PI call, its upto u 2 convert it

u r eligible for all the 4 courses offered by BIMTECH , although given ur profile PGDM would be the best for you.....

The final course that u get depends on ur aggregate performance, inclusive of ur CAT, GD/PI, Acads, Workex, etc....n depending on wht u hav filled in ur form....u get 2 options, 1st n 2nd preference

can u tell me how to prepare for their gd/pi,write up if possible?
can u just me brief idea about placement record of these courses if possible?
if candidate wants to change preference due to any reason who holds the final call?

well u shld definitely get a call.......the placement records are on the coll website....the change of preference issue is one i'll hav 2 investigate......will post as soon as i find out....

As for GD/PI preps, u can luk into various forums on PG, lyk last yrs thread for bimtech, my advice would be to read thru the ET edits, starting now, would be gud if u cud lay ur hands on the past 2 mths issues or so, try the website.....very informative, n nicely written.......

as for PIs, u cud luk into the general q n a tht r asked.....u cud also prep a few sample answers......a gud way is to ask sum1 u know 2 give u a few mock interviews

i have an average acads with 62% in B.Tech from NIT
