The JEE 2015 Seat Allocation process for the IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology) is finally over and most of the IITs have begun their academic year. This was also the first time that the IITs and ISM Dhanbad were a part of the Joint Seat Allocation Process that involved other reputed institutions like the NITs, IIITs, Other GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes).

In this article, let us take a look at the cutoffs/closing ranks for the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna (IITP).

The Indian Institute of Technology Patna (abbreviated IIT Patna or IITP) is one of the eight new IITs established by the Government of India under “The Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act”, 2011. The permanent campus of the Institute is coming up at Bihta approximately 34 kms from Patna. The foundation stone for the Bihta Campus was laid by Sri Kapil Sibal in 2011. The institute’s transit campus is located on the campus of Navin Government Polytechnic in Patliputra Colony Patna.

This institute at the undergraduate level (B. E. / B. Tech.), offers degrees in 5 different branches. Selections to these seats was done on the basis of a student’s All India Rank in the JEE Advanced 2015. The list given below mentions the opening and closing ranks of students across different categories that were selected to the various courses at this IIT in 2015.
