The
JEE 2015 Seat Allocation process for the IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology)
is finally over and the academic year most of the IITs has commenced. So, let
us now take a look at the cutoffs/closing ranks in 2015 for the different IITs.
This series of articles will help you understand the cutoffs/closing ranks for

Do
note that only candidates who secured a rank among the top one and a half lakh
aspirants who appeared for the JEE Main 2015 were eligible to appear for the
JEE Advanced examination 2015. Candidates were finally selected to the IITs/ISM
Dhanbad purely on the basis of their performance in the JEE Advanced 2015. This
was also the first time that the IITs and ISM Dhanbad were a part of the Joint
Seat Allocation Process that involved other reputed institutions like the NITs,
IIITs, Other GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes).

In
this article, let us take a look at the cutoffs/closing ranks for the IIT Guwahati.

This
IIT is located in the state of Assam in India. It is the sixth Indian Institute
of Technology established in India in 1994. The institute is on a  700 acres campus on the banks of River
Brahmaputra.

Selections
to these seats was done on the basis of a student’s All India Rank in the JEE
Advanced 2015. The list given below mentions the opening and closing ranks of
