IT Sector like google, adobe (managing their products).  Also in pre sales do we have onsite opportunity, is it client facing ??  career growth, the pay.

HI  All,

I have 6 years  experience in IT. Now I am really tired with respect to coding and no longer enjoy it and  want a shift.

So I have decided for an MBA with my interest being in marketing.

I would like to know  what role an IT associate can get post MBA (marketing)  and career prospects for  below options

1.Pre sales in IT  ?

2.Marketing in FMCG   ( do they really consider folks with such high experience?)

Note :-I have some constraints

1.I don't want a Business analyst role

2. have a homeloan  EMI of 30K

In case if nothing works out I am keeping the option of re locating to USA in development role. (Business as usual mode).

Need your valuable advice and insights experts!!!

With your profile, you can move to consulting. But you will be valued in the IT space. So you should look at pre-sales and BA roles. Also, no FMCG for you. Finally, you should look at only 1 yr MBA or an MBA abroad. Given your home loan, how you will manage the EMI is something you should give careful thought to. I would suggest you look for onsite opportunities, save enough money to pay off the loan and then do an MBA where the avg workex of the class is around 6-7 years.

successfully completed the VI in the 7 am slot.
basically just woke up from sleep at 7 am logged in and gav the interview and went back to sleep again...overall a smooth experience.

questions asked
1.career goals andd why imt?
2.is NGO scalable and sustainable?
3Traits of a leader and where did you apply those?
4.two experiences which made you aware about yourself and how do manage those
5.sale of two wheelers in your city...take us through your assumptions and thought process

pointers
1.damn the recorder works for only 1 minute instead of 2
2.it begins in 5 seconds and not 15 seconds after the question....
so you dont even have time to think ..so think and talk along..
3.audio quality was kinda good when i reviewed it.
4.by default NGO question is the mandatory 1...so dont mess this questions.

when i was giving the interview one of my family memeber walked behind me....kind of funny when i saw it during the review.
