Prof Kuruvilla is a legend here at IIM-K too His course B2B marketing is billed as as a must-take course!
Will write more when I get to take his course in my 2nd year

Interesting interviews . I'm sure both you and the profs are having fun.

Before or after your interviews, if you want to talk to current students about anything regarding IIMK; do head over to the unofficial mentorship forum we've set up :)

The mentorship forum is a students' initiative It's intended to give you access to a team of students who've divided areas of responsibility among themselves, and so hope to be able to answer your questions better.

Hello all,
Henceforth, all IIMK-related Queries, (be it GD/PI prep, placements, Life@K, acads, insti events....) will be addressed at the IIMK Mentorship site -

And ah yes, do continue posting your GD/PI Experiences on this thread!
Have the IIM K interviews started anywhere ?
The thread will only be created, once they start at a particulat location.
If you want, you can take a look at last year's interview experiences. :)

I think the GD/PIs started off yesterday on campus!

anyone who's gone through the process, do open up a thread and post your experiences!

This got taken up on the IIMK thread a while back. Niranjan is in touch with the Student Council here at IIMK who are coordinating with the admissions office.

Righto. All this isn't something that B School grads will just post on a public thread in response to a question.
Arun, if you really want to study all that, you probably have to go out and talk to the grads themselves.

im no MBA boy but ill try to put in some things

1)Generally people who have done there MBA dont log on to PG after 2 , 3 years.
2)Will you disclose your salary on a public forum , think about it ;)
3) I wish Im alive 10 yrs down the line , these are interview questions and should remain for that sake only and its quite personal for others to know excepting for the time being in front of interview panel ( made up stuff sound even better )
4) Any MBA graduate would say that they are a better place than before , everyone joins for that only na and i doubt they will say the opposite even if its true to harm the image of the b school :)

there are many threads where you will get a jist on info you need , more so ...go through b schooler blogs where you might get more info and contact them to get your queries answered
Hope that helps :)
Thanks for the reply. Can you also tell the batch split in terms of specialisations? Did everyone get jobs from the field of their specialisation?

THanks once again

Students usually specialize is 2/3 areas simultaneously. And the interest levels for a specialization isn't static...it usually changes from year to year.

About getting a job; there's no dearth of great jobs on offer for every specialization. But what one finally takes up depends on a lot of other factors. Rest assured, people who are focussed on a single domain have got the jobs they wanted.

: here, sorry if the questions are already posted

My Two Cents :

Q ) Which company required all its executives to wear blue suits to its board meetings??

Q ) Who came the closest to overtaking Bill Gates as the richest person on earth in the last decade??

OK taking wild guesses here.

1. IBM?
2. George Soros?
