@shubhama

Dav and scumacer, I have been a silent reader of this thread for a while now, and the commitment that you guys have shown towards the institute is commendable! I really hope the two of you get the final call! Good Luck!

Hi Everyone!

I got my admission confirmation today and am gladly accepting the offer. I have a few questions.
1) I get paid at the end of the month, but as I am currently in UK, I would need to fly back before I get my final payslip, which I have asked to be mailed to me by post to my address in India. Just in case that goes missing in post, would last month's payslip do?
2) Is here a direct credit option for the 50k or would I need to send the demand draft?
3) I have accepted the offer through Email, but the demand draft needs to be sent in India, so the hard copy of confirmations also needs to be sent from India, but How would I be able to sign the acceptance letter as I am in UK at this moment? would a DD of 50k along with an acceptance letter signed by my father suffice?

Many Thanks,

Hi,

Finally my application is ready to go. I have a few questions though.
I am going to send my application to India first so my parents can attach the attested marksheets from India.

1) would they take my email ID from my CV?
2) would they send the official letter to my UK address or my address in India?
3) How long does it normally take to know if a candidate has been shortlisted?
4) How do I opt for a Telephone/Skype interview?

thanks,

Shubham
Hi Sunil,

Thanks for the information, I do realize that I could complete my MBA in UK, but I want to move back to India because of my parents. Most of UK Mba's apart from LBS, Oxford and Cambridge would not help me get that kind of profile soon after my MBA in India. To do that, I would need to work in UK for atleast 2-3 yrs after my MBA and I dont want to do that. After AIM, I might be able to move to India straightaway thanks to placements which most of the UK b schools do not offer. and I am really not in a position to spend 40 lakh+ to do it from LBS or US schools.
Thanks for all your insights into my queries people, its a stressful time for me as I really want to get into an MBA but am currently in UK ( have been here for 5 yrs now) and therefore cannot get in touch with people to ask about my chances in MBA. I will apply soon, talking about AIMAT, is the exam conducted in UK? or should 610 GMAT suffice if I concentrate on other aspects of my profile?
Now that all the interviews are done with, I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone good luck.
Binoy/Indraneel thanks for all your help on the forum, much appreciated!

Regards,

Shubham
Tanmoy,

Thanks for your response, which thread should I re-post my question to? Also, do all the forms need to be sent by post? the website seems to be pretty outdated and I cannot get all the information.

Thanks,

Shubham
