I am a PGDM from Goa Institute Of Management 10-12 batch and starting job in Verity Knowledge Solutions( UBS Affiliate) from 2nd july as an Investment Banking Associate (Mostly back end). My graduation has been in engineering. I have 4 queries
1) Would an international MBA 1 year (or 15 months) degree would give me a jump in my career ?? if yes to what extent (considering i am in back end investment banking)
2) How difficult it is to get into Ivy league or MIT Sloan, LSB kind of B schools for an average acad guy (only 59% in PGDBM, 70+ in 10th,12th and 65+ in engineering)
3) What are the risks of not getting the job even after passing out of the institutions ( MOST IMP DOUBT)
4) What GMAT score is good enough for Top Notch B schools of the world??
Would really appreciate the feedback for these queries from the veterans in this field cause as of now i am only contemplating of writing GMAT exam
