I am presently residing in Gurgaon and Plan to give GMAT in 3.5-4 months time frame.
I've been to 4 institutes in Gurgaon (Haven't attended any Demo Class though)
1. Jam-bo-ree - Heard a lot about it, seemed crowded and except for Name, cud not catch my attention. Might be pioneer in GMAT training field and pretty confident (No Miss-selling), but no Idea about Gurgaon's Faculty.
2. Achiver's Point - Seemed a generalist offering multiple courses and offered handsome Discount. Did not look like a GMAT specialist. Counselor did not have any answers to all my Queries, Although she was confident about her Faculty.
3. Princeton Review - Offered lots of Details, Along with Counsellor, Faculty also got involved in discussions. Seemed another favorite of people as it was also crowded. The Coaching plan was similar with others but seemed to have good infrastructure (Online CATs) in Place. Came back Impressed...
4. Pythagurus - It was first to catch my attention via street hoardings... Did not seem among top rung institutes but again had confidence in their faculty, esp Verbal and gave a detailed understanding of what GMAT prep demands from me. Was very straight on the Face and not Polishing like others...
Now I have to decide over next few days where to Join. Can anyone share their personal views and experiences with any of these (Reply or a PM). Any Help wud be greatly appreciated....As it wud mould my Future.....
Probably I am not the right person to answer your question because I have not taken the actual GMAT and not even many MOck tests.
I am still taking coaching for it. I have heard from others experiences that there are no dramatic changes in the actual scores if one has been scoring in a particular range (in your case 580-680).
Expect a change of 10-15% +/- in your actual GMAT score. I would suggest one thing that if you are targeting a score of 750, work on your weak areas and write your exam sometime latter. Rest is upto you.
All the best!
