I'm not new to AIMCATs (I wrote them in preparation for CAT 2010) , but I don't know if the rules have changed. I booked a slot in the Secunderabad centre. I remember that in the same year one of my friends wrote an AIMCAT in a later slot than what he'd booked. Does anyone have any such experience this year?

@Young monk - Probably. But I just 'heard' that it matters more for BM. Last time in the 'XLRI- Final Converts' thread people were even discussing the height of guys who made it, because someone said only the tall ones converted their HRM calls :D. Priceless discussions!

"The XAT score is not informed to the panel and the panel refrains from asking about XAT scores. This is to ensure that the interview score is not biased by the XAT scores. The issue we face is that candidates often end up bringing their XAT scorecard to the interview in a bid to influence the panel. " Everyone in my group was asked his/her XAT score. The candidates were actually asked to show their score cards. I hadn't received my scorecard so the panel asked and noted down my XAT score. But the guy who converted his call(I think he's the only one from my group who converted it, but I'm not very sure) scored less than 95. He had the least score in our group. This was for HRM. I heard XAT scores matter more for BM. To disprove that, there is doc who couldn't convert either his BM or HR calls despite his extremely high XAT score.

Can anyone who has given the exam yesterday ..throw some light on this query ?

Yeah I also tried in the sample test put up by prometric.It hightlights properly but when we click on some where else that highlight goes off.
Is there is any other way to keep it highlight..If yes please let me know ..otherwise..I dont know what's the use of this highlight feature.

I repeat. You're NOT going to write it on a web browser. You are going to write it on a software installed on the machines there. But because you wrote the sample test in a WEB BROWSER, the highlighting feature obviously wouldn't work.

Please help ..I have never used this feature previously in CAT..

I'm not sure if the mods would consider your question off-topic because this thread is only meant for experiences. But the last time even I was wondering what this feature would be. A lot of people must be curious. So let me try to answer this question.
In the 2010 CAT, the highlighter worked just as it does in MS Word. If you highlight anything, the highlight would stay. I'm sure it's the same this time. Remember, you won't be writing the test in a web browser. If it is different this year, someone who's already written it can correct me.

@parasdutta12 - Are you sure 240 was the scaled score for a 99%ile? I scored something in 220s in 2010 and got a 95%ile!
