An MBA program aims to provide exposure to a wide range of issues and students from varied backgrounds enroll at business schools. However, Indian b-schools in most cases have a gender ratio heavily skewed towards male s

Setting up an mba college separately for female aspirants will not help our educational system.Statistics suggest that the sex ratio in the mba colleges all over india is not a pleasing sign. But the decision to set up a dedicated mba coll just to increase the ratio is beyond logic.Agreed , it has some advantages as these colleges might bring rural female candidates into the picture but the overall quality of management will degrade.Even Female aspirants may turn as victim of complacency as they will have their own colleges. Again competition among MBA aspirants will restrict to Majority Male candidates and a separate bunch of female candidates. This separate set up will not nurture the healthy competition among the two sex.Management is all about exchanging ideas.exposure to variities and more importantly to understand day to day business innovatively through team work. These very ideas of management will be deprived off in those isolated colleges. We need more number of female faces in Mba colleges. There could be programs to train them properly and create awareness for Mba and higher studies in that sex.I worry if the trend goes like this .... days are not far when we will witness Many more separations in terms of every fields. We have to oppose it at the very begining. I hope Female candidates will come and say, We dont need reservations and Mercy Perks. We are equally talented and we can compete boys in every field with gutso..
