SBI has a scholar loan scheme, in which students of IMNU get loans at cheaper rate of interests as compared to the normal education loan.

Procedure to apply for scholar Loan :
1) You need to contact high court branch of SBI, Ahmedabad
2) Documents required are your marksheets originals for verification + 2 sets of photocopies, your parents will be co-borrowers, so their last 3 years tax returns, and salary slips.
3) You also need to do your KYC (know your Customer) procedure from your SBI bank at your hometown.

P.S : if all the documents are in order then loan gets sanctioned in 10 days max, otherwise it can linger up to a month or so.

Well you would also hv received a post frm imnu..which asks you to send 2 things

1.) bank receipt
2.) Acceptance letter

It also has the address where we need to send the post.

I hv also received the confirmation frm imnu regarding receipt of payment of 1 lakh.
but did they also ask us to post the bank receipt I didnt get any other mail after receiving the confirmation

The letter or the first mail regarding the selection have the below lines:

"You must also send your confirmation in writing along with a copy of bank receipt for the deposit of one lac rupees latest by April 28, 2012. This amount will be adjusted towards the first installment (Rs. 1.4 lacs) of the first year provisional tuition fee of Rs. 2.80 lacs per annum, the fee approved by the Fee Regulatory Committee (Govt. of Gujarat) for the academic year 2010-11. The payment of the balance amount of Rs. 40,000/- (Fourty Thousand only) is to be made latest by May 15, 2012. "

That means we need to provide them the confirmation in writing too. So if any one knows the address then please help...


I got the confirmation from imnu regarding receipt of payment. Could anyone please let me know where we need to post the bank receipt???? urgent....

I have deposited 1Lakh yesterday and mailed them too. But yet no confirmation from their side.. i have scanned the bank slip and mailed them too... when can i get the confirmation from the college side???? i used NEFT as the mode of payment.
