@ Varun , Iam a newbie to this site .. nd since Iam here, Have learnt many useful points from ur posts. Thank u so much. I guess I have yet to come across many other talented ppl here . ( as u mentioned)

In an examination there are three subjects A,B,C
A student has to pass in each subject
20% students failed in A
22% failed in B
16% failed in C
total number of students passing whole examination lies between Ans: 58% and 84%

P.s : I CANT be ur bhai ..coz iam a girl :P

I was talking about Case 1 ..

There are 4 possibilities in Case 2 as Varun sir said, so it sums up to 28

@ Varun SIr,

In CAse 1, x+y= 5

The total no = 6c1 * 4 na !

so total will be 28 ! Pls correct me if iam wrong
