once you get convinced why you need an MBA, its easy to convince others. what did you miss in an MTECH from IIT that you would like to achieve with an MBA.

Hi Guys,
I am new to this forum and would like to take inputs from you. I would like to give brief about me.
Education: Diploma in mechanical engineering (73.86%)-passed in distinction
Bachelor of mechanical Engineering (72.8 passed in distinction
Master of technology (7.96 CGPA)- IIT Delhi.

I have 6+ years experience in diversified area.
-Before doing My M.Tech I worked in small scale industry for 2.5 years as quality control Engineer.
-After M.Tech worked in GE R&D; which is the world's top 5 company (2 years 4 month). Role involved algorithm development for GE's Machines.
-Worked in EATON which Is US based company (11 month)as Informatics Engineer.
Role involved supporting New product research in terms of data analysis.
-Currently working in Symantec Software as software engineer (1 year exp as on date)
-Role involved Data analyst.

Achievement- Two awards in GE for performance. six sigma Green Belt certification from GE
Two award in Eaton again for performance. filed Patent with Program Manager
In current company did't get any thing as on date ( might be I am not suitable for soft domain being mechanical engineer)
Extra activities- Department Representative when I was doing my bachelors.
worked on social activities like teaching children in Govt school when I was in GE Bangalore
Planning to Join NGO here in my current company.

I am targeting GMAT (700+) before May 2012. Guys please provide me your inputs on my profile. Little bit confused on how I can Convince people on why I am opting for MBA if I have already M.Tech Degree from IIT.
If possible guide me on how to approach for GMAT. I need to start from scratch.

Please suggest me what score I should have to get into ISB or IIM. I don't want to go to any other institute.
