For those who are through with the Round 1 interviews, could you please share the following details:
the both of them reached home 10 minutes early. those 10 minutes were saved cz the man had started walking at 5pm. As a result, the wife met him at 5.55 pm instead of 6.00 pm. thus 5 minutes were saved on the journey to howrah station to howrah station and 5 minutes while coming back from the same route. hance, the man walked for 55 minutes.
the answer should be 55 minutes.
Can anyone solve this problem?
A man travels to chinsura everyday for work. His wife drives him over to howrah station every morning and in the evening exactly at 6:00PM she picks him up from the station and takes him home.
One day, he was left off at work an hour earlier and So, he arrived at the Howrah station at 5:00 PM instead of 6:00PM. He started walking home. However the met his wife enroute to the station and got into the car. They drove home arriving 10 minutes earlier that usual.
How long did the man have to walk, before before he was picked up by his wife?
