@rAkash now your chances are...not in the verge of make or break depending on the length of your WorkEx alone.

I have two questions 1) I gave my GMAT in October and at that time I had filled ISB as one of institute to which I would like to send my scores . I am retaking the GMAT on 28th Nov .Is it possible that my application could get evaluated before my new score reaches ISB ? 2) There is high pro...

1) Yes, but they will take your new GMAT score into consideration for sure

2) No, fill it with the older one and update ISB when you get the new scor OR communicate to ISB prior on this matter

Puys need your help. One of my juniors wants to go into HR and she was dreaming about ISB. But I told her that I felt that ISB is not the perfect match for a HR aspirant (that's what I think, do tell me if I am wrong). Please suggest some near-ISB level colleges (other than IIM, SPJAIN and XLRI)...

MDI...for sure

and ISB doesn't even provide a concentration in HR!

To all those who are waiting for a status update on their candidature- I just called ISB PGP office. They confirmed that all the offers for R1 have already been rolled out. They did not comment on w/l status. Ding mails will start coming in from today afternoon till the day end.

if you guys find any post with any specific claim (specially related to numbers) that couldn't be backed up, then don't hesitate to 'report' the posts.

PG moderator recently warned one of the persons posting such posts and removed one such post by another person.

@ricq it's good to see that you didn't post your opinions/beliefs/'khabar' as if they are fact.

And of course not a single number you mentioned in your last post is correct except the number of students in waitlist

Hi everyone, Am a R2 - ISB aspirant. Can someone throw light on the sports people who got into ISB earlier and what they did/do immediately after the course? I have read about Viren Wilfred, but are there others who got in? This could help me build my essays up with much more clarity. Thanks

another quote...it's from @Llewellyn75

"No one (not even India's Hockey Captain at the Olympics) ever got into ISB only on the basis of ECAs or a diverse background. Moreover just having good things in your armory does not help. Depicting these through your essays are your best bet to get things moving in the right direction. Also if you are not well prepared at the interview, these things which are naturally seen with a lot of skepticism, come under the scanner."
