@rupamec13 I totally agree with your point that from grassroot level we should see if children are in proper environment to speak that language but Mr Modi himself speaks in Hindi when he addresses people or any meetings in foreign countries. Seeing this, I believe it will be difficult for him to implement these changes in India.

As of now there is no official language in India. Making a language as an official language surely helps surel as a brand of the country. But we should remember that we are living in a country where literacy rate is close to 7%. Also children who go to school doesn't have a really good stats. 52% of Class 5 students cannot read a Class 2 English text on their own and same is true for a majority of people in India. Therefore, making English as an official language will be of a great concern.

This is sort of stupid question. MHCET roll no is same as the Seat Number mentioned on the hall ticket?
