And this is what I found for re-applicants. THis means no reading the past essays.. I might just be saved.
The admission decision will be made based on the current application.
Anddd here I come.... for the Co2014... I gt dinged this time and here's my profile:
Male-27Yrs, Marine Engineer, presently at the rank of 2nd Assistant engineer,
already have the necssary number of recommendations for the promotion to 1st Assistant Engr, only need to clear the exams which I did not appeared for as I was confident of getting into Co2013 :banghead:
GMAT-710 (Q-49, V-38, AWA-5.5)
EC: Pretty decent, no community work though, but represented college in various Cricket and Football tournaments) Organized a few culturals in college....
Interview Experience: It was a pretty cool interview (or so I thought) and the panelists seemed to be pretty convinced with the answers..... gave me a case study too with lots of cross questioning on every solution provided by me..... I guess the basic point where i messed it up is "Why MBA?". See my basic reason here is that I want to shift to a land based job and not wander around like pirates but for the obvious reasons I cant state that to the adcom.... but that would have also affected my future goals part.... anyways would come to know abt the actual points only after I get the feedback ....
Anyways, it's just a start of a long journey again..... but i'm sure with the fellow puys, the journey would be again as beautiful as will be the sweet destination and we sure will make it this time....
March end ka ekm plan main apko bheja email main...dekh lijie...nice way to shell out some bucks to be amidst the pristine purity of the Himalayas :)
This is my first post and please count me in for 2014 thread. I would like to ask fellow puys in Delhi, or whoever may help to suggest me the best coaching classes for GMAT. I'm planning to give my first shot around July-August 2012. Mustang, if you may recommend me a good institute?
and, let make 2014 thread a huge success with lots of sharing
Ok puys, this is coming a little late.
Firstly, congratulations to all the admits
Hope this year at ISB, you guys achieve what you wanted to in your careers!
Secondly, waitlisted puys, keep the hopes up. As one says, it isn't over till it's over!
Thirdly, those who got rejects, it's not the end of the road. Most of you have other options, focus on those and things will work out in your favour :)
Last but not least, I got a deferred admit (as many people were sure, I would - with the low workex). And I'm going to reject it. ISB Hyderabad CO2013 was on the top of my list due to some personal reasons. Had put in a lot of effort to break the trend (of 2+ years workex admits). Didn't happen
Mohali or CO2014 doesn't work in my favour. Have IIM-B and IIM-C interviews up in early March. Hope I get luckier there. So, the marathon continues :)
Met some really nice people here. Would love for our paths to cross sometime. Cheers!
I couldn't make it , but i am glad to see so many of my favy puys making it thru, i am sure u guys would rock at ISB
For all those like me who got ding-ed, all the best with your career plans and we will definitely prepare ourselves better and get into the finest BSkul programs of the world.
