Hi Seniors,

i will complete my 2 years of work-ex on 7 jun this year. The session begins on 11 jun 2012. I just wanted to know that does it make a huge difference if your work-ex is 24 months than if it is 23 months. Coz if it does not make a big difference then i will ask for an early release from my company otherwise i will really have a cramped schedule
Hi Seniors,

do we need to prepare any CV for the interview??
CAT Centre, Date and Slot: IBMR Pune 10:00 AM

1) How many attempts you have made?
QA/DI 23/24
VA/LR 27
OA 50/51

2) Your last mock score?
my AIMCAT score usually ranges between 85 to 95%tile.

3) How was your experience of the test?
The overall test experience was really smooth. Adhering to the suggestions made by puys, went a little late for the exam to minimize the idle time in front of the monitor. That helped. Thanks a lot for that advice puys.

4) What was the surprise element for you?
None. The test was more or less on the same lines as the previous days.

5) Any tips to handle the computer based exam better?
Puys go a little late to the centre. Minimize the idle time that you will sit in front of the monitor before the exam as that is the most anxious and the frustrating time. And yes, dont forget the golden rule: STAY COOL. Easier said than done though.

6) Your overall analysis of the exam: Toughness, new topics, sections etc.
QA/DI - Quants has usually been my nemesis in this season's AIMCATS. Worked hard on it in the last month but still was a little apprehensive about it. But today's Quants was very easy and doable. If someone like me can make 23/24 genuine attempts, im sure the phod janta on pagalguy would have simply ripped off this section. DI was also very doable. 1 set was a little calculation based with close options. Overall I would say i found the difficulty level of this section was 2 notches lower than the AIMCATS

VA/LR- The standard of VA was very high. The PCs and SCs were tough to figure out. 1 set of LR was a little tricky. The rest were easily doable. RCs were on the tougher side with inferential questions. Overall I found this section a notch higher than the AIMCATS.

7) Any other details or something you would like to share?
Puys dont forget to solve the previous year CAT papers. Ab Zyaada kuch to nahi bata sakta bas samajh jao kya batana chahta hu
