Hi;

It is Post Qualification total experience which is Supervisory or Managerial in nature. I am not from the Software industry, hence please be your best judge yourself.

hi guys...........

Hi;

Anytime Regular MBA is better than Correspondence or Distance Learning as classroom teaching helps you conceptualize your learning and campus life enriches your exposure. However if you like your job and cannot quit, pursue a Part-time MBA (weekends or evening classes).

With 1.5years of miniscule experience you would fit into the Regular MBA, so don't bother thinking about Executive MBA as it requires minimum 5years of Post Qualification work experience.

All the best.

Hi,

I am a working professional, with a corporate experience of 7 + years in the field of Marketing specifically Business Development/Channel Management. Though first 3 years out of the 7 years of the work experience, was while I was doing my graduation.

Well I am now planning to do Post Graduation, and more inclined towards doing an Executive MBA.

Please suggest who should do an Executive MBA?

Hi;

Great to know about your professional history, it seems you have all the right ingredients for pursuing Executive MBA. I hope that what ever college you want to pursue your EPG education from would seriously consider your post qualification experience of 4years and admit you in. I guess you do not need to look around for people who should do an EMBA as your profile justifies that claim.

Wish you all the very best.

Hi;

As you might have read, the Oil and Gas/ Energy sector has enormous potential in India owing to its significance to sustain the phenomenal GDP growth. I am sure in the coming years with market de-regulation, more and more investments are due in this sector making it one of the lucrative sectors in terms of employment.

Your work experience in the cement sector would surely help you relate with Oil and Gas sector and a MBA degree would surely help you switch sectors. Our EMBA batch students have varied profiles and work experiences ranging from IT, Banking, Mining, EPC to Fertilizers and Oil & Gas. Please find the below attached link for viewing our existing batch students profiles.

The problem with your profile is the meager 2year work experience which doesn't qualify you for an EMBA course. However you may join our regular MBA courses through CAT.

for someone with a work experience of 10 years( in companies like oberio hotels and microsoft) which can be a good distance learning mba program....also please tell me if all the executive mba full time courses????
thanks in advance

Hi;

There are 2 questions;

  1. How do you say a program (distance education) is good or bad? B-Schools are judged by their placements, faculty and infrastructure. Distance education provide access to none. The course curriculum is more-or-less same for everyone. If you are looking for the brand repute, then be your own judge.
  2. Yes, Executive MBA are mostly full-time courses, some can be a mix of distance and campus, wherein student is required to attend classes for only a week in a quarter. Otherwise programs are residential.

With a 10 year work experience, you are definitely in great a position to leverage your professional experience with a MBA degree.

Wish you all the best.

Hi Puys,

Pls suggest me EMBA prog for 3 yrs exp guys in IT..
IT job sucks...dying 2 do EMBA ..pls suggest some gud colleges..

Hi;

1st of all what I suggest you is do not aim for a MBA just because your job sucks or you wish to shift tracks in career. It is not very easy to change tracks as easily as one perceives. Do a MBA when you need to grow your horizons and wanna manage a bigger picture that you have been doing ever since.

2nd, it isn't possible for you to do an EMBA as it requires 5+ years experience. Instead try our for regular MBA wherein you can leverage your experience to get an edge over other fresh candidates.

Hope that suffices your query.
