This is looting ... sheer greediness from NMAT's side ... Exam fees have been revised from 1600 to 2000 for FT MBA and each retake will cost 2k. So, 4k for a minimum of 2 attempts and 6k for all 3 attempts plus if any unfortunate guy re-schedules ... it will cost him extra ... GOD help us aspirants ...

Its natural to blame the institute for this, but then u cant ignore inflation and NM has never really been known for its altruism.

Anyone plz tell me whats the diff in PGDM(bang and hyd) and full time MBA (mumbai campus) ???
Dhiresh Daga @Dhiresh1009

The blore and Hyd campuses are newer and have stated operating only a few years back. Other than that, they come under the NMIMS university, but all other processes other than NMAT are totally independent and separate from NM Mumbai.

Am I eligible for NMAT? I completed B. tech (2006-2010). But I didn't clear a 3-1 (yr-sem) and a 4-1 exam in first attempt, I cleared them in supplementary exams, but before I was out of college. In NMAT-2014 it's mentioned that "Full Time Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a UGC...

@ajayjr said: Is PGDM as good as FT MBA? I mean if you compare the job prospects which ones better and why? Can someone give a detailed answer to this plz. Im lost as hell
The course structures for both PGDM and MBA are more or less similar, so yes, both the courses are comparable that way. But we can't compare as per the job prospects since both b'lore and hyd campuses are yet to have their first pass out batches. Mumbai campus being the oldest one is obviously the first preference for most people, but the other two campuses are coming up in a really big way.

y can we not just take things in the spirit they are meant to be? I mean a xtra line on a roughly drawn map, does this really make enough impact to raise a hullabaloo over it? Next we will have people objecting to the states not being drawn to scale!!

@Pupil1234 said: How good are Narsee Monjee Hyderabad and Bangalore?

They are pretty good although they are new. A big brand name always helps.
@Pupil1234 said: Can we give best of 5 and Best of 4 marks for ICSE and ISC respectively?
No. Since the ICSE/ISC marksheet has no mention of the best 5 (or best 4) thing, so you have to put in the aggregate of all ur subjects.
PS: I am also from the ICSE/ISC background, nd i had to do the same.
