Information is out regarding MBA applications through JMET ( for the IIT schools of management), IBSAT (for the various ICFAI business schools across the country) and for the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA). Read on and get a snapshot.

Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET):

Online application form submission starts: September 7, 2009

Last date to submit online application form: October 9, 2009 (6:00 PM)

Last date for receipt of application form at IISc, Bangalore: October 16, 2009

Examination date: December 13, 2009

coolguy	#11 August 06, 2009, 11:55 pm hi.. this is to inform all of you that plz don’t fill the IBSAT form for the various ICFAI colleges.This college charges a huge amount of fees and give a distance education degree not a regular degree..this same degree course is sold by icfai ppl as distance education for Rs 70000 and they charge 8-10 lakhs for the same degree. Even these colleges are fake and some of the centres are shut down like chennai,lucknow,kochi,mangalore,goa..this year almost 50% students have withdrawn their admission from each centres… this degree is all fake and what icfai ppl tell that it is affiliated to Dehradun university but in reply dehradun university denies this…They say it is a coaching centre where mba course is done and provide placement assistance only..it is not a college but just a coaching institute. chk it out and do your research before..dont get trapped by ICFAI. Amit nigam	#20 August 09, 2009, 3:57 am see if SP jain is considered then its last passed out or 2 last batch has only 3 freshers its takes freshers but quiet less in nos. and as far as other colleges r concern like KJ it takes u dont need to worry for that all premier colleges which r from cat take freshers for their main program i am posting some good colleges city wise this might help u. Amit nigam	#26 August 13, 2009, 1:01 am IRMA one of the most prestigious college of india in the field of Rural management right now it is ranked among top 40 coleeges of india. If we talk about placements then it has an average package of 6.2l/annum near about the student level which have been enrolled i IRMA has dropped because of the ABM program started by IIMS. The job u will get after rural mangagement is basically in the field of micro finance or rather in any NGO but u have to work in non-metropolitan area but after 7-8 years work ex u can get job in metropolitan area. Last year near about 12000 applicants have given IRMA out of which near about 500 have been called for 90 seats even having sector specific the competition is very tough if u r getting about 85-90%cile consistenly in ur AIMCATS or SIMCATS or any other test series then u can go for it below that it will be tough for u. ATB for all aspirants

jenkinjs	#31 August 16, 2009, 9:41 pm HELLO everyone,what ever cool guy has quoted is 100% true…i have wasted one year of my life by joining ICFAI chennai which was shown the doors by high court of tamilnadu as they doesnot have any recongnition or affliation.maybe u can aspire to join the hyderabad campus alone but ALL OTHER CAMPUSES ARE FAKE.i can assure u that!!!.so plzzzzzzz DONT FILL the IBSAT form,this is my humble request and get geared up for CAT 2010:))..if u have any further queries,do post them..

The students studing in this campus r more in numbers u can contact then by visiting the campus its very hugh and execlent infrastructure and 90 arces of land…. once u seee then u decide

ONE OF MY FRIEND TOOK ADMISSION IN LAST SESSION OF GOA CAMPUS AND AFTER HER SUMMER TRAINING SHE WAS TOLD SUDDENLY THAT THE COLLEGE HAS BEEN CLOSED. SHE WAS SHOCKED BY THAT! AND SHE WAS OFFERED TO CHOOSE OTHER CENTERS THAT ARE RUNNING, AND SHE CHOSE DEHRADUN CAMPUS…SO BE CAUTIOUS!
